Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are faced with balancing the mechanics of working from home with the emotional implications of managing it all: work, home, family and most importantly, your own self-care.

We hope that you are following the Centers for Disease Control’s directives for staying safe. During this complicated time, please remember to take care of your mental health as well as your physical health. In the words of Winston Churchill, “We shall not fail or falter; we shall not weaken or tire. Neither the sudden shock of battle, nor the long-drawn trials of vigilance and exertion will wear us down. Give us the tools, and we will finish the job.” We’ve compiled a list of tools so that you can face life with more equanimity. While we are required to maintain social distance, please know that you are not alone, UAPB is in Pine Bluff but the Golden Lion Nation is everywhere!

Students, if you need additional help finding mental health assistance, please contact Mr. Elbert Bennett, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (bennette@uapb.edu) . Employees needing assistance with the Employee Assistance Program, please contact Mrs. Gladys Benford, Director of Human Resources (benfordg@uapb.edu) .
