The Office of Public and Media Relations is responsible for enhancing the reputation of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff as an 1890 Land Grant Historic Black University and the Flagship of the Delta, with international influence in teaching, research and service. Specific areas of responsibility are as follows:

• Dealing with day-to-day inquiries on all aspects of university business
• Cataloging and assisting with the distribution of corporate literature (e.g. Annual Report, Calendar, and other internal and external bulletins and magazines
• Planning and assisting with events management and corporate hospitality
• Assisting with preparing corporate bids for competitions, such as academic fairs, competitions related to academic disciplines and student leadership, summer camps, issue-oriented public meetings, etc.
• Coordinating community relations activities
• Providing photographic service, in collaboration with the Learning Resources Center, for university personnel and programs
• Advising, when requested, on the preparation of printed materials
• Advocating and promoting campus tours and gallery and museum visits
• Manage the public and media relations website
• Conduct Market feedback and incorporate results into planning process
