  More Resources

Whether you are a UAPB student or partner of the educational, business and industrial community, you will find relevant and challenging programs. Moreover, making possible unparalleled opportunities for the university and the neighborhood to be enhanced by the developments of each other is a $30 million campus master plan project, allowing UAPB the opportunity and responsibility to realize its full potential as a first-rate university--preparing students for their future lives as contributing professionals and citizens.

Unique career choices are available at the university. A Center of Excellence designate of the United States Department of Agriculture, the UAPB Bachelor Degree Program in Regulatory Science is the exclusive choice for that study in the nation. The program is the product of an enabling partnership with national governmental agencies such as the United States Department of Agriculture, United States Department of Transportation, and other national agencies. You would want to know also that UAPB offers the only Bachelor and Master's Degree Programs in Aquaculture/Fisheries in Arkansas. Not only is the Aquaculture Program the Center of Excellence at this university, but also it is an internationally-recognized educational value and economic value as well. You will want to know also that teacher education--a focus of this institution for 125 years--along with minority business development, mathematics and science, as well as student leadership development are high priorities. And competitive athletics with a new $7.5 million complex are just some of the enhancements to the out-of-class learning and social experience.

If you're planning to visit UAPB, you will want to see the Multi-disciplinary Research Center, the Aquaculture/Fisheries campus, and the 1,000 plus acres of research farm lands. Of interest also is a tour of the community development project which includes small business assistance as well as construction and rehabilitation of single family dwellings. You will want to visit too the KEEPERS OF THE SPIRIT historical exhibit and other events at the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Center.

We hope you enjoy your electronic visit to UAPB and we want you to follow up in person. Thank you for your interest in the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Dr. Lawrence A. Davis, Jr.
Chancellor
