Welcome to the School of Education at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff!
The past few years have provided many new changes for the School of Education. New learning technologies, new buildings, new partnerships and new programs. Most importantly, we have been granted continued accreditation by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). This accreditation places UAPB among approximately 625 other institutions (Teacher Education programs) that are meeting the highest accreditation standards.
The School of Education has, as its priority, the recruitment, retention and graduation of its candidates. Scholarships, academic advising, mentoring, assessments, individual and group instruction provide a support structure for teacher candidates.
The School of Education and its programs, support the mission and goals of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff by its preparation of teacher/educators, service to the community, and scholarly activities. Partnerships and collaboration with the P-12 schools and other education institutions ensures all candidates the knowledge, skills and dispositions expected of all beginning teachers.
If you are interested in a bright and rewarding career, come join us in the School of Education. With your help "No Child Will Be Left Behind!"
