Student Union

The L. A. Davis Student Union was dedicated April 27, 1952, with the 79th Founders' Day Reception being the first official activity of the building. Located on the west side of the campus, the Union is considered the "Nerve Center" of the campus. It is the community center for the campus; promoting social, recreational, cultural, educational, and individualized interest activities. The Union provides activities for the development of responsible group participation and social interaction, use of leisure time, and cultivation and expression of varied student interests.

The Union Building houses the Office of Student Activities/Student Union/Intramural, ARAMARK Dining services, Student Government Association, Union Programming Board, Class Officers, The Arkansawyer, The Lion Yearbook, Follet Bookstore, Game Room, Snack Bar, Cafeteria, Student Lounge, Faculty/Staff Lounge, Meeting and Conference Room, and Ballroom.
