Chicago Alumni chapter gives more than 11k to UAPB

Jackey Cason, president of the UAPB/AM&N Chicago Alumni Chapter, presented a check totaling $11,165 to Chancellor Laurence B. Alexander and Dr. Margaret Martin-Hall, director of the Office of University Relations and Development. The financial breakdown is $4,165 to the Vesper Choir, $1,000 to UAPB Cheerleaders and $6,000 in Scholarships for Chicago area students.

“Next year, we are going to work hard to double what we gave this year,” said Cason. “Dr. Alexander has inspired Chicago Alumni to continue our great work for UAPB.”
