Personal Photography
Photography is permitted for personal, noncommercial use.
Photography and Filming
Photo shoots and video shoots must be approved and scheduled in advance by contacting the museum director at (870) 575-8232 or museum@uapb.edu. UMCC asks that all photography and video shoots be scheduled at least ten (10) business days in advance. All filming and photography must be conducted without disruption to museum operations or limitations to access to exhibitions, stairwells, entrances/exits, high traffic areas or other locations of interest to museum visitors.
Collection Management Policy
The
University Museum & Cultural Center collects, preserves, organizes and
provides access to records, artifacts and memorabilia pertaining to the history
of Branch Normal College, Arkansas Agricultural, Mechanical and Normal School,
Arkansas Agricultural, Mechanical and Normal College, the University of
Arkansas at Pine Bluff and the Arkansas Delta. A solid collection of over
50,000 items, including photographs, papers, manuscripts, catalogs, letters,
yearbooks, journals, periodicals, artifacts and other ephemera, create the
museum’s holdings that document the lives of the people who helped mold the
history of UAPB and the Arkansas Delta.
Criteria For Acquisition
• Collections must
fall within the scope of the collection policy
• UMCC must have the staff, funding, supplies
and storage space to accept items or collections to be donated
• Donors must sign a Deed of Gift form
• Lenders must sign an Incoming Loan Agreement
form
• Department chairpersons must sign a Department
Records Transfer form
