The University Museum and Cultural Center enhances the research and public service/outreach mission of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) by providing access to a repository of historical records and artifacts related to Branch Normal College, Arkansas AM&N School, Arkansas AM&N College, and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and the Arkansas Delta. A solid collection of over 50, 000 items including photographs, papers, manuscripts, catalogs, letters, yearbooks, journals, periodicals, artifacts and other ephemera, create the museum's holdings that document the lives of the people who helped mold the history of the institution and African American life in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, and the Arkansas Delta.
Whether you are interested in finding a yearbook from the year you graduated or conducting research for a class project, the museum archives are available. Although the museum staff is unable to carry out research on behalf of users, they can provide copies of documents and photographs for a small fee.
