Campus Operations Overview

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is shifting operations and activities – other than essential operations – to online or other remote means to the maximum extent possible. That means many of our offices will not be physically accessible, we will endeavor to remain connected as much as possible. For your reference, a quick digest of updates have been created below:

AM&N Credit Union Closed
Customers needing to complete transactions can call (870) 534-1990 or email uapbfcu@sbcglobal.net
Athletics Events Canceled
The NCAA and SWAC suspended all sports for the Spring 2020 semester. Student- Athletes should contact their coaches regarding summer and fall activities.
Campus Tours Can be done virtually
The Office of Recruitment is providing virtual campus tours. To register for your virtual visit, please contact Kenita McKenzie at kmckenzie@uapb.edu.
Classes
Courses will be conducted online only for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester
Our goal is to allow all of our students to complete their courses for the semester, make progress on completing their degree plans, and remain on track for graduation. For more information, view the Academic response memo.

Mail/Printing Services Closed
Military Science Closed
All staff is teleworking except the Human Resource Assistant. Please contact the office to make appointments if absolutely necessary at (870) 575-8452. Cadets scheduled to attend Basic and Advanced Camp must stay in contact with their Cadre on new dates. Currently, all cadets scheduled to attend Advance Camp that have already completed Basic Training (e.g. Green to Gold Cadets and select cadets in the Simultaneous Membership Program) will receive course and scholarship credit for Advance Camp. Cadets currently enlisted in the National Guard or Reserves MUST notify the Professor of Military Science immediately if Activated in support of COVID-19 support to FEMA.
Residence Halls Closed
Students have the option to schedule a time to collect personal belongings from March 23 through April 3. Any personal items that cannot be collected by April 3 will be packaged and stored. For more information, please view the Housing memo. If you have questions, please email Residential Life or call them at (870) 575-7256.
Student Health Services Closed
Students can schedule medical counseling by calling (870) 575-7106 Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. After hours medical advice is available by calling (870) 541-7100, and asking for the doctor on call for Jefferson Comprehensive Care.

Quick Reference Guide

Although the date has not been released yet, we intend to have a commencement ceremony in late summer. If we are unable to have a ceremony, because of Covid-19, we will invite our Spring 2020 graduates to attend either the Winter 2020 or Spring 2021 ceremony of their choice.
