Student Union

The L. A. Davis Student Union was dedicated April 27, 1952, with the 79th Founders' Day Reception being the first official activity of the building. Located on the west side of the campus, the Union is considered the "Nerve Center" of the campus. It is the community center for the campus; promoting social, recreational, cultural, educational, and individualized interest activities. The Union provides activities for the development of responsible group participation and social interaction, use of leisure time, and cultivation and expression of varied student interests.

The Union Building houses the Office of Student Activities/Student Union/Intramural, Thompson's Hospitality Dining Services, Student Government Association, Union Programming Board, Class Officers, The Arkansawyer, The Lion Yearbook, Follet Bookstore, Game Room, Snack Bar, Cafeteria, Student Lounge, Faculty/Staff Lounge, Meeting and Conference Room, and Ballroom.

Bookstore

The University/Follett's Bookstore stocks required textbooks for current course offerings, as well as an impressive array of school supplies and gifts, magazines, and souvenir items, many bearing UAPB logo.

Game Room

The perfect stress reliever! A wide variety of video games, pinball, billiards, and card games to suit just about everyone's entertainment needs.

 Lounge

A perfect environment to relax with friends to study, hang out, catch up on your favorite soaps or the late breaking news on a large screen TV. It's a place for you to be.

Dining

Hungry for something out of the ordinary? Join friends for creative and wholesome snacks as well as meals. There is a fresh salad bar, pizza parlor, baked goods, and sandwiches. Checker's is now available.
