Types of Gifts

Unrestricted – The University encourages donors to make unrestricted donations. These gifts are used for scholarships, financial assistance, students and faculty/staff enrichment, faculty awards, and other University activities.

Restricted – Such a gift shall be used for whatever fund or purpose the donor desires provided such use is consistent with the policy of the University. UAPB will not accept any gift which contains restrictions on race, color, creed, national and ethnic origin, sex, marital status, religion, or handicap.
 
Miscellaneous Gifts – UAPB accepts gifts of in-kind service, property, bequest/wills, and other charitable gifts. Such gifts may be for unrestricted or restricted purposes.
 
Clubs
By supporting the UAPB Annual Fund Campaign, all donors may be eligible for special benefits through membership in the various clubs.
 
The Hicks-Holiday Legacy Society
This donor group consists of individuals who have made provisions for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff at the time of their death through insurance policies, bequests/will, trusts, annuities, property, and other gifts.
 
The Founders Club
This club includes donors who contribute $1,500 or more in unrestricted funds. Donors will receive a classic lapel pin, an invitation to the Donors Banquet and have their names listed in the Annual Donors Report. Additional incentives include: 2 tickets to the Chancellor’s Benefit for the Arts, Jazz Ensemble CD, and 2 season tickets (general admission) for football and basketball. (Tax-deductible amount may be reduced by accepting incentives).
 
Other Donor Clubs
 
Chancellor Club
Donors who annually contribute $7,500 or more to UAPB. These donors will receive a club level plaque, an invitation to the Annual Donors Appreciation Banquet, and have their names listed in the Annual Donors Report.

Prestige Club
Donors who annually contribute $6,000-$7,499. These donors will receive a club level plaque, an invitation to the Annual Donors Appreciation Banquet, and have their names listed in the Annual Donors Report.

Deans Club
Donors who annually contribute $4,000-$5,999. These donors will receive a club level plaque, and invitation to the Annual Donors Appreciation Banquet, and have their names listed in the Annual Donors Report.

Leadership Club
Donors who annually contribute $2,000-$3,999. Donors will receive a classic lapel pin, an invitation to the Annual Donors Appreciation Banquet, and have their names listed in the Annual Donors Report.

Achievement Club
Donors who annually contribute $700-$1,999. Donors will receive a framed certificate, an invitation to the Annual Donors Appreciation Banquet, and have their names listed in the Annual Donors Report.

Challenge Club
Donors who annually contribute $400-$699. Donors will receive a certificate and an invitation to the Annual Donors Appreciation Banquet, and have their names listed in the Annual Donors’ Report.

Heritage Club
Donors who annually contribute $250-$399. Donors will receive an invitation to the Annual Donors Appreciation Banquet, and have their names listed in the Annual Donors Report.

Contributors List
Donors contributing $50-$249. These donors will have their names listed in the Annual Donors Report.
