…so that the good that you do will live on: The Hicks-Holiday Legacy Society
When you write or review your will or trust, please consider leaving a charitable bequest or a “contingency bequest” to The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Foundation. You will find many ways to achieve your charitable and personal goals if you consider revising your will to include UAPB. Planned giving opportunities such as membership in the Hicks-Holiday Legacy Society may be the perfect option for you.
The Hicks-Holiday Legacy Society is named in honor of the late Dr. Charles A. Hicks ‘34 and the late Dr. Charles A. Hicks ‘34 and the late Dr. O.R. Holiday ’37. Both were graduates and long time supporters of AM&N/UAPB. Hicks, who died in 2005, left a legacy as a retired educator/administrator and star collegiate athlete. Holiday was a retired professor/chairman in the Department of Agriculture at AM&N/UAPB and community and church leader.
Ask your attorney to include such wording as: “…to The University of Arkansas Foundation, Inc., a non-profit corporation (Federal I.D. 71-6056774), for the use of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with its principal office in Pine Bluff, Arkansas…”
