Blackboard Learn

How to Access Blackboard Learn Online Courses

Click Here or follow the instructions below:

  • On the UAPB website click on the link BLACKBOARD LEARN.
  • A link to a video will display if this is the student's first time logging into the system.  This link will explain to students how to log into Blackboard Learn.  The student will be allowed to listen to the video as many times as they wish.
  • Once the student clicks on the continue button then the student will see a screen that will allow them to enter their username and password.  The student's username is the first six characters of their last name unless the last name is less than six characters, and then use their full last name followed by the first initial of the student's first name and the last four numbers of the student's ID.  The username is lowercase sensitive and it will remain the same throughout their class enrollment on campus.

     

For Example:
Student's name is James Lee Johnson and his student's ID is 0001234 then James' username will be johnsoj1234 with no spaces.

Password:
The student's password will consist of the first initial of their first name and the first initial of the last name in uppercase followed by their date of birth.  Example, if the student's name is James Lee Johnson and his is born on May 21, 1990 then his password would be JJ052190.

Students enrolled in online classes MUST login by the 4th day of class.
Students who do not login will be dropped for non-attendance.
