Career Awareness and Opportunities

SAFHS Banner

The Career Awareness and Opportunities in Agriculture, Environment and Life Sciences program helps students learn about the degree and career opportunities in the agriculture, environmental and life sciences agencies and industries. In collaboration with Southeast Arkansas (SEARK) College, the program engages students and families during the career exploration and college preparation process to help students make career decisions and academic adjustments leading to academic achievement and transition to college.

Scholarships and internship opportunities available for high school and SEARK students help with the cost of college and strengthen academic preparation for majoring in the agriculture, regulatory science, aquaculture/fisheries and human sciences areas.
