The mission of the Teacher Education Unit at UAPB reflects the mission of the university with its emphasis on imparting knowledge, developing foundational skills, and perparing students who value the continuation of a democratic society with active citizen participation. The Teacher Education Unit thus has the mission of preparing competent, committed, professional teachers for a diverse, democratic society.
