M.S. & Ph.D. Degrees in Aquaculture/Fisheries 

The Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries at UAPB offers the only M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in aquaculture and fisheries in Arkansas. These research-based programs prepare graduates for careers in aquaculture resource management, natural fisheries, and allied industries. The comprehensive program provides students with a broad base of skills, expertise, and practical experience to be competitive for a wide range of opportunities.

Areas of Study

Graduate students are required to prepare a thesis or dissertation concerning original research during their tenure in the degree program. Areas of study are available in the following areas:
