Section - One
Coaches are assigned to students by classification. Success Coaching is the one-on-one process of helping students examine academic concerns and perceived barriers to develop an action plan for achieving success. Section - Two
Peer Tutoring Services are open to all students at UAPB. Find site locations, schedules, and site coordinator contact information. Learn how to become a paid student tutor.
Section - Three
S.T.A.R. Students Taking Academic Responsibility is a structured program to help students stay or get on track to persist and graduate. Open to all students and required for students admitted or returning through appeal or readmitted students.
Section - Four
"Destination Graduation" assists students near graduation with small balances that may prevent their persistence to graduation. The mini-grant is available to students graduating with a year.
Section - Five
The "Navigating the Yard" workshop series is tailored to student needs to provide a successful transition to college life and to achieve individual academic and professional goals.
Section - Six
Learn how SSC assist transfer students in their transition to UAPB and assist non-traditional students in acclimating to college.
Section - Seven
Learn about SCC Textbook scholarship eligibility requirements and how to apply here. Applications are accepted up to the second week of the fall and spring semesters.
Section - Eight
Faculty and staff can learn about the Early Alert Program and refer students to SSC for services here.
