About the Department

Agriculture is a scientific discipline that involves research and its application to agricultural problems. The UAPB Department of Agriculture prepares graduates to be employed in all areas of the food and fiber system, from production agriculture to banking and business, the management of supply chains, research applications and graduate study. The Department offers a bachelor’s degree with four program options, a regulatory science degree with three program options and a master's degree in agricultural regulations.

Bachelor of Science in Agriculture

The Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture is offered with the following program options: Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business, Plant Science (Agronomy/Horticulture) and Animal Science. Learn more>>

Bachelor of Science in Regulatory Science

The multi-disciplinary curriculum in Regulatory Science is designed to prepare students for exciting careers related to regulatory and compliance activities with federal, state and local governments, as well as private industry.
