SCHOLARSHIPS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS
Thurgood Marshall College Fund scholarships are designed to relieve the financial hardships of attending a TMCF member-school or other accredited college or university (if applicable). The awards process is competitive. Our awards are given to outstanding students, ambitious and qualified, who plan to earn a baccalaureate, graduate or professional degree. Most scholarships are non-renewable, one year unless otherwise indicated. The IBM Masters Fellowship Award program recognizes and supports exceptional Masters students who want to make their mark in promising and disruptive technologies, regardless of their field of study. Candidates may currently be enrolled in Masters programs in the sciences, arts, nursing, business, law among a few with focus areas in the following topics of particular interest: Hybrid Cloud, Cybersecurity, Quantum Computing / Quantum Systems, Artificial Intelligence. The Jackie Spellman Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who have been impacted in some way by leukemia or lymphoma, either as survivors, individuals diagnosed with leukemia or lymphoma, or individuals who have a member of his or her immediate family who have or had leukemia or lymphoma while living in the same household. https://jackiespellmanbenefit.org/scholarships/

Through a grant from the Windgate Foundation, the University
of Arkansas at Pine Bluff has received a scholarship aimed at recruiting highly
qualified students of color who have chosen to teach. This scholarship is
housed within the School of Education and will be awarded to students who have
excelled academically and expressed a strong interest in becoming a licensed
classroom teacher in Arkansas public schools. The scholarship aims to recruit a
pool of eight undergraduate and five graduate students of color who will enter
the EPP and will become highly capable of preparing the next generation of
learners. The scholarship awards range up to $5000 per academic year for undergraduates-
$2500 each academic semester for two years and $2000 for graduates -
$1000 each semester for one academic year. The scholarship can be applied
to tuition, fees, and books.
